HI, WE ARE SAM & ALLY REDDEN.
In 2019, Sam & Ally with the help of Greg & Sally Chappell took over the operations of Currawee Crossbreds.
The family-owned breeding operation runs both Angus and composite cattle on 3,200 acres near Purlewaugh, NSW. The property has been in the family since 1918.
Sam has always been passionate about genetics. Greg and Sally Chappell have helped foster his love for genetics from such a young age and have help him create and build what is Currawee today. Sam studied Agricultural Science majoring in animal production at the University of New England. It was there he studied advanced unit’s of genetics.
Ally also studied at the University of New England, completing a degree in Rural Science. After university, Ally worked as an Agronomist - something that has been very useful for Sam.
Collectively, both Sam and Ally have a deep passion for Agriculture and animal genetics. They are both committed to produce quality composite bulls that work and showcase results for their clients.
DREAM IT, BUILD IT, BREED IT.
